With permission from (and thanks to) Milton Access TV--which has broadly blessed my re-posting of its content--I encourage you to watch the September 9, 2026 discussion before the Warrant Committee regarding a citizens' petition to be sent to the October Town Meeting. The citizens' petition asks Town Meeting, in essence, to be the town body that approves or disapproves the uses of surveillance technologies like Flock (and sets the conditions).

The discussion in the video below includes both a presentation from Ben Zoll and Alex Lang regarding the petition itself, and remarks from Police Chief John King regarding the system. It is worth your time.

The relevant discussion begins at the 18 minute mark.

Full disclosure: I signed the citizens' petition and was involved in the organizing efforts around it.
